What It Is

This is the heart of our practice. You'll receive a thorough, evidence-based psychiatric evaluation followed by an individualized herbal treatment plan. I lead with botanical medicine because I believe the earth offers powerful, effective, and often gentler tools for mental health, especially for the conditions women face most.

What to Expect

Initial Evaluation (75 minutes): A comprehensive, unhurried assessment. We'll explore your mental health history, current symptoms, medical conditions, all current medications and supplements, hormonal health, lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, and what you've already tried. You'll leave with a diagnosis (when appropriate), an individualized treatment plan, and a clear path forward.

Follow-Up Visits (30–45 minutes): Regular monitoring of your response to treatment, symptom tracking using validated clinical tools, dosage adjustments, interaction reviews, and ongoing support.

Lab Work: When clinically indicated, I may order lab work to assess thyroid function, hormone levels, nutrient status, inflammatory markers, or other relevant biomarkers.

Unlike a visit to a non-prescribing herbalist, your herbal care here is backed by full psychiatric prescriptive authority. If at any point your condition requires conventional medication or if you simply decide you'd like to add or switch to it. I can prescribe it immediately. No referral. No delay. No starting over with someone new.
